20mm vs 35mm comparision: How much wider is it?

Simple Question: How much wider is it?

I’ve tried to find comparisions like this but feel that most articles are too heavy on technicalities. I tend to get easily bored so here’s actual samples using same settings and same camera position. Let’s go to the shots and pass on the backstory until afterwards.

Ok now for the boring backstory.
I am going to Tokyo next week and since it is supposedly pretty crowded and narrow I thought that my usual 35mm and 70-200 setup wouldn’t cut it. I am planning to use it on both the Nikon D800 and the D500 (which handles superior IMO).

I am a fan of short and concise information and although I appreciate getting into the nifty details I prefer so after getting the general overview.

Many thanks to the great people of DPreview forums guiding me to buy this lens.

And a final comparision
